Enimerosi

Sixteen youngsters from Italy, Malta, Turkey, Portugal, Lithuania and Hungary in the dates 22 to 29 of March were hosted in Rafina by Enivirnmental Group of Municipality of Kessariani in the frame of Activate Green Minds educative project. Additionally five young Greeks participated in this project as three trainers and the coordinator Androniki Margari.
Every participant is a member of youth a environment interested organizations. The aim of the project was the exchange and development of new tools (like discussion groups, methods comparison, video production) to activate youngsters in their organizations trough non formal and peer-to-peer education. Also to create a good tool set of methods and tactics as well as a network witch will promote and use the conclusions of this training course. This program is funded by European Committee as well as "youth in action" program though the institute of youth of the national agency.

Youngsters take on action
More and more young people get sensitive and active with the environmental issues so the bigger the benefit for the planet. With this in mind there was a meeting in Rafina of Attica 21 youngsters from 7 European countries in the frame of the educational project "Activate Green Minds". Greeks, Portuguese, Italians, Hungarians, Turkish, Maltese and Lithuanian in the ages 18 to 32 years old witch work in organizations active in social and environmental issues traded ideas, opinions and experiences and looked for some "smart" solutions on strengthening the participation of youngsters of the same age and origin country in actions like this. The program was realized with the care of Environmental Group of the Municipality of Kessariani and with the funding of the European Committee and the institute of youth of the national agency.
